Leslie Kulesh is a London based American artist whose work ranges from sculpture and installation to performance. Kulesh uses these diverse mediums to address issues related to current events and popular culture. A recent collaboration saw Kulesh using television to satirize the fashion world’s adoption of green technology and politics, and most recently produced a video/performance work looking at feminism and female representation on the Internet. Leslie Kulesh continues to locate the collision of Pop and Politics in this scarf design created using images of a NY oil spill, LA acid rain clouds and a mobile phone sales booth.
Kulesh often works in conjunction with a variety of individuals and artist run organizations. Past collaborators include Andrea Crews and Auto Italia South East.
For its 10th Birthday, ANDREA CREWS presents a very special collection with Cosmos and Earth, festive night on the beach, acid wet look, vintage bondage, voodoos, spray paint, tribal unisex in a year with mystic superstitions and the end of the world.
